The Bottle Jacket Story
I come from a family of entrepreneurs and I love to create — whether it be just for fun or for family. Ever since I learned how to use a sewing machine, my interest in creating fun and stylish things has kept me motivated and inspired.
My story started during the Covid shutdown when I was stuck at home looking for things to do. While cleaning closets, I found a vintage bottle jacket of a Russian Cossack I had saved from my mother. He brought back fond childhood memories of him standing ready with his balalaika to play a tune at family gatherings — a reminder of my family heritage.
He was definitely showing his age and needed a makeover, so I decided to make a new one. I had so much fun recreating him that I was inspired to create more fun bottle jackets.
A Creative Journey Through Craft
I love wine, so I decided I needed to make a sommelier. My design for the sommelier came from classic wine images and my own imagination. He was great fun to create and bring to life — and I was hooked to bring more characters alive.
My inspiration for more bottle jackets comes from my favorite things: real and fictional characters, and the possibilities are endless! From athletes and chefs to dancers and holiday figures — every jacket is a little piece of joy.

Only quality fabrics make the cut. Irina hand-selects soft felts, silky satins, metallic accents, and specialty trims to bring each character's personality to life with color and texture.
Cutting & Sewing
Every piece is cut by hand and sewn with care on Irina's sewing machine. No two jackets are exactly alike — each one carries the subtle marks of true handcraft.
The Personal Touches
The magic is in the details: tiny accessories, hand-painted features, miniature props, and embellishments that make each character unmistakably unique. Many can even be personalized with a name.
